The Sundance Film Festival opens that night in Park City, Utah and their primary theater will be the Holiday House, owned by the H8 funders Cinemark, as Defamer discusses here.
Rather than boycott the state of Utah--they'll probably be happy we don't come--or boycott Sundance itsels, advocates to desegregate marriage have a very high-profile opportunity and target within the Sundance festival itself.
In the third quarter of 2009, Cinemark Theaters proudly reported a 1% profit. How much of that came from members and allies of the gay/lesbian community; or even from married gay/lesbian couples? How do the investors of Cinemark feel knowing that their shares are weakened because of the h8ful social engineering of their CEO? Their stock today stands at $8.52, down from a yearly high of $17.55.
Americablog's readers have the scoop on who at Cinemark to call and protest. There are many calls to boycott Cinemark, which I will pull together in one post as soon as I can. Please feel free to add any details on Cinemark pickets.

This blog is under review for terms of service violations? I'd love to see the reason. Apparently they're available to the blogger on his/her dashboard.
If Google interferes with you posting them here, the dKos page that links here might be the next best place to discuss it.
Thanks for getting the word out. A movie theater chain angering the gay community is like Smith & Wesson angering the NRA.
Straight but not narrow-hang in there.
